Hi guys once again i'm cooking hehe It been quite sometime i want to cook the "Apam Pelangi" or Rainbow Apam/Cake Finally I made it , i take the recipe from here Ingredients 2 grade A eggs 1 teaspoon ovallate 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence 150 gram  Plain Flour 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder - mix and sifted 90 gram Fine Sugar 125 ml Coconut Milk (Fresh or Instant) Food dye accordingly ** i used 5 colors blue,red,yellow,green and violet Prepare steamer Heat the steamer. Prepare round cake tin approximately 8 inch diameter, you can place bake paper myself i apply very thin layer majerin Prepare the dough. Whisk ovallate with sugar well blended. Add the eggs -- whisk with high speed until thick Lower the speed, pour the coconut milk and vanilla essence - mix well. Add the flour, bit by bit till finished. Divide dough to few parts drop your dye accordingly In my case, i use 5 colours blue, red, green, yellow and violet. How to make the layer?   ...

hi guys actually at one time i did took photo every step how to cook "Roti Lapis Berdaging" But unfortunately, i can't find it huhu i promise if i find it i will upload later... anyway thanks to facebook, i'm able to extract few photo..... photo on the right, show you the 6th step/layer, where you place your slices cheese on the top of filling. as you can see how the bread been arranged (1st and 4th layer/step) and also the filling (2nd & 5th layer/step) in this photo i use 1  or 1 1/2 pack of minced meat so you can see lots of empty space i normally use 6-7pcs of slice cheese, where 4 pcs i place as you can see in the photo, and the rest i will divide into 2 or 3 to fill up the empty space between the cheese before you baked in oven tadaaaaa..................after baked in oven how it looks --- layer by layer .....meat .....chicken

** click  here  for original recipe **click  here  for photo Alright this is my version of baking the Roti Daging... to be honest every time i cook i alter a bit...  to counter the lack on the previous attempt. The way i baked Roti Daging, is same as in the original recipe. To read orginal recipe click here The different is how i prepare the filling,  which the ingredients are slightly different. Actually what you add and mix will give impact to the taste of your Roti Daging. And it depends on you as the chef :) ,  either you want it more meat? spicy? or cheezy?..  so no worries as long as you understand the basic of preparing it. Roti Lapis Daging Berkeju -- ORIGINAL version ok guys this is the original version given by friend of mine, Diha Rauza. But as usual being me, i love to alter a bit so if you wanna see my version go to the next entry Bahan2: Untuk Inti: 300gm daging cincang @ 4 kp g daging burger (dihancurkan) 2 ulas bawang putih 1 biji bawang besar 1/2 paket perencah daging black paper maggi sedikit air garam & gula minyak 12 keping roti 3 biji telur 200ml susu fresh 8keping slice cheese cheddar diparut * sayur2 ikut suka Cara2  utk inti : Panaskan minyak, tumis bwg putih mskkan bwg besar n daging... grg hingga daging empuk. kemudian masukkan perencah black paper dgn sedikit air... masak sehingga daging msk n kering. ketepikan n biar sejuk. Hi guys Never give up !!! we should try till we succeed right? So I went to baking shop and bought OVALLETE … so that nothing goes wrong I also bought some piping bag … to sound more proper and pro haha. Ok so we follow the same step as mention in the previous entry. (Click here if you miss that one) So where we will using this ovallete? On the first step – whisk eggs + sugar + OVALLETE together Divide dough into several parts drops your dye this time I am using piping bag! Cool now I can do more pattern!   Watch out so place them into the paper cup than ready to steam Steamer when the water already boiling , simplifying fire & steam for 15 minutes effect of OVALLETE.... shiny and tempting end result .... tempting amazing  colorful with piping bag , i can do more pattern :).....watch out 

apam polka dot second trial

Hi guys  This will be my second trial of cooking APAM While am browsing I find out people are crazy doing APAM polka dot So let’s do it To be honest this is not my recipe…. I copy them from bunch of blog out there some of them using cup measurement and some use gram – so I combine it for u In this project is use cup because I don’t have weighing machine lol So this is what I need… 3 eggs Grade A (from the fridge)  -- I think I use normal or Grade B 2 cups flour (280 grams) 2 tea spoon baking powder * flour and baking powder sifted together 1 and half cup refined sugar (220g) 1 cup fresh milk (250ml) I tea spoon essence vanilla Most of the recipe will mention ovalette I don’t have any – never hear about it so just drop the substance and see what will happen Dye – in this project I use 4 colours blue , green , pink and yellow Use maximum speed – that what all of them said…whisk the eggs and sugar until fluffy Mixture will be thick, creamy white & fluffy, according to one...

first attempt apam

this is my first entry about food  i wanna talk about APAM .... Actually you can call me as APAM addicted i'm not sure what they called it in english but malaysian call it APAM it a food, if in europe people have tea break with a lovely cup cake, in Malaysia we eat APAM . I love APAM since i was small, maybe that the reason I am like APAM too "chubby" if you wanna know what is APAM you can Google it Recently, almost every morning i will buy APAM for breakfast. it been ages I want to try to make them, but mum reluctant to teach me, she said difficult , easy to buy sob sob sob.... One day i went for shopping, i saw a box of flour with a label "instant APAM flour" i talk to myself! cooooll finally i can make them by myself after a month then i have time to make APAM .... hahaha a month? yeah you right... busy woman ? no it is actually lazy woman ok back to the story so i read the instruction, hurm not so bad, only 3 lines of instruction it must be easy righ...
